Hello everyone, it’s time to get ready for the summer dive season!

The Scuba Appreciation Club is planning on being very active this summer. We are encouraging club members to join us in attending events put on by the Alberta Underwater Council around the province. We are also organizing semi-regular evening dives at lakes close to Edmonton (Twin Lakes or others) as well as weekend dives to other Alberta locations. There is also a long-weekend dive trip to Vancouver in the works.

If you will be in Alberta this summer and are interested in participating in club dives, please email dive@uofascuba.com with “Summer Diving” as the subject and you will be added to a summer dive email list. This summer list is separate from the main club email list and will be used to send summer dive information and to help coordinate rides and rentals if necessary. If you have any friends who may be interested in diving with us they are welcome to join the list as well. You may opt out of this email list at any time.

The first AUC event coming up is the Jasper Aquathon on May 22nd and 23rd. We also hope to have our first evening dive in the next couple weeks. Hope to hear from you and see you in the water! Happy Diving!

Note: emails sent to dive@uofascuba.com are delivered to both Siobhan and Ross; feel free to send any other dive related questions you have to this address as well. We can also be individually contacted at siobhan@uofascuba.com or ross@uofascuba.com.
